torque steer king!
ReplyDeletethe presenter from roadfly are dressed so shabbily
ReplyDelete@C70drvr lol I want $20,000 for my s80
ReplyDeleteIt´s GREAT ! ! I like black with tinted windows, wooden dashboard and would put some leds.
ReplyDelete@palebeachbum the engine isnt just a yamaha, both parts worked it out.
ReplyDeleteYes AWD makes it weight some more and eat more gas but slows preformence? lower topspeed but mostly its better for 0-60 unless its a supercar.
the main feature about AWD is safety, the car sticks much better to the ground even on dry asphalt and prevent understear when you have a heavy v8 in the front or a more powerful FWD car really.
And this dosnt just include Volvos, but any car like Audi Quattros, Bmws xDrive etc.
Love love love this car. I sat in this and an E-class. I found the S80 interior both more comfortable and more pleasing to the eye. That clean interior design is refreshing. Isn't that V8 actually a Yamaha motor? Unless you live where there's lots of snow, AWD is a total waste of money. Beside the additional cost of buying AWD, it makes the car weight more, and as a result, eat more gas and slow performance. Volvo seriously should start making their cars RWD again.
ReplyDeleteVery nice review !!!
ReplyDelete@C70drvr I hate that everything in canada is way more expensive than the US even though the currency is almost the same, the gas is cheaper in the us, the cars are, insurance. almost everything.
ReplyDelete@C70drvr I'm also living in Canada, and we just picked up a 2007 V8 AWD S80 with 15 Thousand Km on it. Great deal, better car, more than adequate in the snow, mind you the advanced chassis setting sharpens up the throttle response and sometimes gives wheel spin, best leave it in comfort. But otherwise, you won't at all be disappointed with the V8.
ReplyDeletecan one image that the american bankers are thinking about bankrupting this european car company in favour of asia and american rubbish
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about getting this car next year. This 07 has features that other cars are just now getting, like adaptive cruise and blind spot monitoring. It's awesome because 07 S80 V8's are now only $25-$30k
ReplyDeleteEuropeans don't buy these cars for the safety of their families only...yet they also buy it to play with in the weekend. THAT is why europeans like the stiff suspsension.
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of hairpins curves in the alps or in every other tiny country we need to be able to manouvre in small spaces.
We need agility in our cars more than american cars. We want to feel what's happening underneath our cars. I like stiff suspension, right next to smooth comfort.
love that car
ReplyDeleteI have an s80 :) But not V8 :( I wish...
ReplyDeletein brazil is $170,000
ReplyDeleteford owns volvo but they are still seperate divisions doing different designs, ford is using volvo concepts but no way are ford making volvo
ReplyDeleteThe car costs about $60 000 in Canada. :D
ReplyDeleteI love my C70 coupe but I really am considering picking up a new S80 someday just for that awesome V8.
LMAO, luv it when he says sports sedan. Its an executive SALOON 8)
ReplyDeleteA bit of correction:
ReplyDeleteFord doesn't design or manufacture Volvo cars - they own the majority of stocks in Volvo (which practically means that they own the Volvo company/brand). The design is done in Göteborg, Sweden, and for Europe it's production line is in Genk, Belgium.
of course its cheaper in America, ford, and american car company, designs and manufactures it now.
ReplyDeleteIn Russia the base price of v8 is $90.000, almost twice as expensive...
ReplyDeleteomg in america that car is cheaper than 2.5t summum omg...i live in sweden its home country god damn it!!! ill go to america and buy a brand new v8
ReplyDeletewow is this guy off about the features of the car.
ReplyDeletefirst it's not called the "zubra package" it's the sport package (the rims are named zubra.) and then he gets the adaptive cruise control and collision warning systems mized up, the adaptive cruise slows down/speeds up the car based on the car in front of you, not what he says- he was talking about the collision warning system...
anyway i love this car and wish i could afford one :-D
Nice Video lolz, my names Morgan, im feelin n0rty and h0rn3y if any guyz wana chat im usually on
ReplyDelete___ FriendlyFlirts..dot..COM ___ my username there is Morgan-qddhazpgh chat soon ;)
@idrinorbarsaku Actually, I'm a BMW OWNER ;) Not just a fan! :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't like how the rear door lines were designed. It should have started out around the chrome molding above the wheel wells. If anyone didn't understand me, I'm saying the Infiniti rear doors lines should have looked like the 2011 BMW 7 Series or the 2009 Honda Accord rear door design.
ReplyDelete@easyalpha1 really? that's what you want out of a car? its all about looks my friend :)
ReplyDeleteim waitig for new AUdi A6 , i dont like this car , looks uglly
ReplyDeleteyea Infiniti is getting expensive tooooooooo much
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor just bought one of these. Its nice and I really like the previous generation M but I've seen these go for as high as $70K brand new. That is waaaaay too much.
ReplyDelete@easyalpha1
ReplyDeleteStuck in the 90's are we? Lol
Great engine, shame the rest of the car doesn't compare to a BMW 550i on ANY level
ReplyDeletefor that price i would get a CTS-V
ReplyDeleteI just test drove this car and what a disappointment! With a price tag at over 70k fully loaded, it doesn't offer MAJOR features like parking sensors, rear dvd entertainment, and the seats weren't nearly as comfortable or offered as many adjustment options as its biggest competitor, the 550. It also just felt cheap and the tester I was driving had rattles already! Couple that with an unnecessesarily rough ride, and its major similarities with the Maxima, and its just an overpriced maxima...sad
ReplyDelete@BMWDRE10 Actually, the new 550i wasn't even available when this video was made, which is why it is compared to the last gen BMW550...you're supposedly a BMW fan and didn't even pick up on that...typical.
ReplyDelete@easyalpha1 Ya, just look at Toyota
ReplyDelete@gunners0077 well yes, but Infiniti is not as good as BMW in my opinion, but it is almost on par with Mercedes
ReplyDelete@kingdarius5252 You responded to an overstatement with another overstatement. The interior fit-and-finish is comparable in all of them. The F10 and new M56 are the newest and thus have the nicest interiors. I'd give the edge to the M56 (more leather), but it's splitting hairs. The all-new A6 should have a phenomenal interior too.
ReplyDeleteWhere these cars differ is long-term durability. The Japanese interiors tend to wear better, and have less things break off or stop working after the warranty period.
I have one. Its my girl. I love her with pure emotion.
ReplyDeleteuhhhh, SORRY NO ROADFLYTV. The 2011 BMW 550i has 400 HP, 450 LB-FT TORQUE. This guy claims this M56 has 70 more HP than the 550i. Should probably check again......
ReplyDeleteI LOOOOVVVEEE <3<3<3, YOU LOVE CAR ? YOU CAN GO WATCH MY CHANNEL, I MAKE RED MUSTANG IN 3D
ReplyDelete@kingdarius5252 I think the Japanese is better on the luxury part of things. But Germany will always make the best sport sedans. Japanese cars are more for cruising and being pampered, but are relatively boring(Especially Lexus). The German cars are normally more involving and beg to be driven. I think I would take a German car to, because to me, driving should be enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteIs it me or the back of this car reminds you of the new Mercedes E class? I could be wrong but it looks like it!!
ReplyDeleteewwww what the hell happened to infiniti they used to make the most beautiful cars.i used to hug my 06 m45x it was so beautiful.whos designs this shit now a 2nd grader.this is the same company that makes the GTR i wont even get started on the QX OMG.
ReplyDeleteGreat review - fantastic car ;)
ReplyDeletenissan maxima but cost way mmore
ReplyDelete@mokos23
ReplyDeleteAlso I'd say you're totally wrong on number 4, have you even been in the 2011 5 series? The materials in the fully loaded M56, RL, or GS don't even BEGIN to compare with the A6 or even a base 528i
As for reliability, my friend's M35 needed brake repairs at 25,000 miles. Doesn't bode very well for that!
@mokos23
ReplyDeleteThat's 4 things lol
