    Why is everyone testing and talking about Dolby with the internal speakers?
    The difference is made with headphones :)

    i may not be dave but i say the desire wipes galaxy totally the galaxy isnt as fast and the screen is no match for desire HD i my self am going for the htc and personally think its the best smartphone out there

    This is a very informative video. I currently use Apple devices but I am amazed at how many new and exciting products from other companies are being developed. That's the beauty of capitalism and competition, the consumer wins in the end. Who knows where these developments will take us.

    @Lasuil 18 month contract seems fair, and yes better rated batteries are available on eBay and some resellers.

    on amazon they sell a battery for the ndesire hd it is 1600 mAh when my mum buys it for me for my birthday would you reccomend for her to buy the battery as well

    @davomrmac so you would not recommend I engage in a 18 month contract for this handset? Have they not made better batteries for it yet like you suggested in one of your videos?

    What should I get, this or the desire. I want a phone to play games on. I like the speed of DHD but the desire has an better screen (amoled). Sorry for my very bad English.

    @davomrmac so you just need to turn it off some times, to keep it optimal? Thing is I'm thinking of getting this instead of an iPhone as I can't afford to buy a handset (HTC is free) but I don't wanna get it if it needs charges that often...was that with heavy use?

    @Lasuil Yes, when brand new the battery would last almost two days, this gradually got worse and was about 6-8 hours between charges, not good. Handset slowdown was with apps not closing or multitasking properly, after about a week it would be horrible, a restart would sort the issue.

    @scarlettbond At the time of doing this review 2 months ago I would have recommended the Desire HD, but then started having battery and slowdown issues, that is why I did an update video detailing that I switched back to the iphone 4.

    @davomrmac but in the video you said you liked desire hd better than the iphone... so which is it? i'm not trying to say sth nasty, it's just that i have an iphone 3g atm and can't decide between upgrading to iphone 4 or buying desire hd...

    this phone is good for about 6 months, the keyboard messes up, it turns off randomly, then it wont turn on correctly.
    i've had this phone for over a year, i'm switching over to the sidekick lx 09.
    this is a good phone, just won't last that long like most smartphones

    omg this phone sucks i have it and it always messes up it takes 4ever 2 load and the android market sucks theu dont have any aps and i had to factory reset it twice so i called android and he said that this phone messes up alot then y do they sell it now i have 2 wait 2 years to get another get a black berry instead!!! trust me
