AHAHAHAHA " id have one of those if i was the sort that looked at my sister and went mmmmm....'' almost pissed myself when i laughed
ReplyDeletehope they will test 2011 5.0 and say its a good car!
ReplyDelete@LieKiller finaly someone with brains you can have all that hp but you also have to put all that power on the road
ReplyDelete@GiveItAllorNothing look at the new Boss 302.... it spanks the m3 around laguna seca and it still doesn't have Independent rear suspension
ReplyDelete@FordGT8806 Ford GT maybe is one of the best but all the others have just powerful engines . nothing else. Also the united states are not superior to my country :))
ReplyDelete@dcanmore WRONG, brake horsepower is STILL measured at the flywheel. ALL manufacturer ratings are at the flywheel, period, no matter the country.
ReplyDeleteThe "brake" in "brake horsepower" refers de Prony brake, which was connected to the to the engine, not the rear wheels.
10 minutes of talking about a mustang... <3 love it
ReplyDeleteTrue american muscle. But sadly the 2012 GT 302 kicks any corvettes butt to england and back. Anyway. German cars like the m3 can eat a mustang corvette chargers dust, because american muscle sets the standard
ReplyDeleteI'll take 447 HP at the wheels anyday. That Live Axle 3 link works. Hammond makes a point. Yeah, I want a carb. poor cold start performance etc. Keep trying Richard Hammond.
ReplyDelete@MKBoyardee civic type R,CRX I suppose. The problem is, they can't take a lot of hp, so they can only be stuff like hatches an stuff. So yes, they won't be setting any records soon. A 200hp fwd wold be good against a 200 hp rwd, but a 400 hp rwd is better than a 400 hp fwd.
ReplyDelete@carmodifire The best handling FWD car would be, what? Cobalt SS? MazdaSpeed 3? They may handle better than some RWD vehicles, but they won't be setting any records soon.
ReplyDelete@SleeperSHO True the first. Also, sliding is just one part of the handling equation- how fast it can corner, how much hp it can take before sliding, body roll, weight, etc. are just a few factors that affect handling. The Mustang handles bad. And fwd isn't bad, only it it has high hp, then it is.
ReplyDeletebeautiful beautiful, want it badly
ReplyDeleteThey really look like amateurs when they dyno a car at the wheels and expect to get the crank HP ratings, plus, they didn't blow any air into it.
ReplyDeleteSecond, I don't see where people get off saying these cars can't handle.
The only cars that shouldn't slide around corners are FWD, AKA wrong wheel drive.
@21scuderia i know wat ya mean but its just all our brands are owned by germans we still build the cars in england the germans are just the ones who pump the money in. rolls royce aston martin bentley jaguar landrover ect are all still from england.
ReplyDeleteGod i love clarkson
ReplyDeletethe mustang would perform poorly on bends. but then again it was intended for racing.

ReplyDelete@10243612B software is desing to mesure losses and give a real reading of power at the crank ,however they should put a fan before the car so more air going to the engine like it would in normal drive even with a supercharger
ReplyDelete@xxevilgeniusxx It's called "Big Red." Look it up. There's plenty videos and they have their own site. That was in 2005 I think, the race I mean. But still; every super car, bike, HIGHLY modified European sports cars, crazy gear head, and rich 5 million dollar car driving fuck on earth was there. They all lost.
ReplyDeleteThe 2011 is even better and doesn't lie..
ReplyDeleteAnd tired seeing these camaros so Gunna get it
@windflasher0 Why so serious? It's all in good fun boys.
