ReplyDeleteI found it a little to dark. Would have liked it more if there was a better ending
ReplyDeleteMe too
ReplyDeleteThought of thundergun
@dragonmania1011 I THOUGHT THE SAME THING :P
ReplyDeletelol thunder gun?
ReplyDeletethis is a great movie , it kept me wondering more about the story it pulls me to wanting a sequel , it those type of movies where you surf the internet , for any sequel coming up , it's a better than sex , and if you've never had sex , better than porno
ReplyDeleteIt was one of the best movies ever... but so gawd damn depressing I couldn't watch it more than 3 times.
ReplyDeletehumans cant use the alien weapons that was said in the movie. so the drones cant use becaus they dont think about it and the humans cant use it because they dont have the DNA . so its pretty much just useless trash
ReplyDelete@Mottahead those movies have nothing to do with each other
ReplyDeleteI miss carlyle
ReplyDelete@RestlessMuzik I prefer District 9 too myself...but what i'm saying isnthat guy is a joke saying the special effects were like cartoons thats all...i don't really care opinions are opinions we'd be here all are lifes if we tried to change them...
ReplyDelete@Kousaburo Yep, until the end of the movie when I told her that this wasn't real lol
ReplyDelete@Gaz07 Tbh i kinda aggree with jheadSF06, Avatar i didnt find that great, the visual effect worked but not that long, its too colourful too look real, the story line is BASIC and it only draws attention to people who like fancy graphical imagery, i prefer District 9 coz it actually is different not just a basic story line but something to watch and draws the viewers by its story and unique movie view
ReplyDeletei fucking loved this movie but my mom and dad hated it
ReplyDeleteMST3K riffed this movie. Only it wasn't called District 9, it was called LaserBlast.
ReplyDelete@brisadiva9 LOL, did she think they were real aliens?
ReplyDeleteBest sci-fi film of the decade.
ReplyDelete..."...grasshoppers wearing bras and panties.."..........I just spit out my coffee. FUNNY!
ReplyDeleteThis movie was amazing! And it was funny watching it with your gullible sister who believed me when I told her that this movie was a real documentary! Made watching it so much better ;)
ReplyDelete@jheadSF06 Wrong Wrong Wrong...i loved both those movies...and your the only person in the world that thinks avatar effects are "like cartoons" ...the effects in avatar are stunning...don't just say things cuz your trying to be different really use your head if you didn't like the effects in avatar then really what are you looking for in a movie...this isn't the year 2880 ok...we don't have any better tech than whats in avatar so basically don't talk shit because you thinks it's cool to be diff.
ReplyDeleteThis is so much better than that overrated drivel Avatar. It's amazing to me that a movie with a $ 30 million dollar budget managed to have better and more realistic looking effects than the nearly $ 300 million dollar budgeted Avatar. Seriously, the effects in Avatar looked like cartoons.
ReplyDelete152 turned into an alien
ReplyDelete@aaustinvaughn1 you are a terrible movie :P
ReplyDeletethey used the wunderwaffle DG-2!!! and thunder gun the doctor would be roud
ReplyDeleteExcellent film.
ReplyDelete@computerexpert3 What's the hypocrisy? Lucas made an awesome movie trilogy, which he then fucked up by doing a prequel trilogy that sucked. Seems pretty self explanatory to me.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever thought of reviewing Metropolis?
ReplyDeleteBoth the original version, AND the anime remake?
Man, I'd love to see that...
They were gonna make a 7th movie but then they cancelled it
ReplyDelete(part 3)
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm trying to say is:
What would you people think if someone came with a story and screenplay to George Lucas about a 7th movie, and he gave that guy (maybe me) the opportunity to direct another Star Wars movie?
please let me know what you are thinking, people of YouTube...
(Part 2)
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong, i love George Lucas i even think the first Star Wars (episode iv) is better then The Empire Strikes Back, even though it's got better special effects and almost just as great a story, but just the fact that in the end credits you see: Written and Directed by GEORGE LUCAS, just makes it better for me,and of course it was mind blowing to see the movie.
(apparently, i need to make this in 3 parts)
Imagine a 7th Star Wars movie.
ReplyDeleteA sequel to Return Of The Jedi..
I've always dreamed of making a Star Wars movie, I know it's almost physically impossible to make a better one then the original trilogy, but think about it. There has never been a sequel to Return Of The Jedi, it's always been what's happen between the 2nd, 3rd or 4th movie.
Anyway, about making a 7th movie, you would need someone like James Rolfe to write and direct it.
(need to make this in 2 parts)
Why did the movie go downhill after Empire? Because Gary Kurtz left.
ReplyDelete@huerta95 I take that as a compliment.
ReplyDeleteHarrison Ford as Han Solo is my favorite charachter.
ReplyDelete@gtfomylawndouche Mmm... You sound just like a sith lord
ReplyDeletelike this if u want james to share his opinon on the clone wars movie and series
ReplyDeleteThis guy truly is a very wise man.
ReplyDeleteGiuk fact if you see can you response but I'm a huge star wars fan and the finnel duel in ep3 is my Luke vs vader but my point the atats were delepiped in the late clone wars for ruff terrain
ReplyDeleteDamn thats a lot of references
ReplyDelete@liveordie200 the rebels want freedom but that freedom will make the galaxy uncontrolled and chaotic. I mean do you really want a galaxy like the dystopian future of Mad Max??? I say the empire all the way may justice prevail opressive or not.
ReplyDelete@computerexpert3, yes he brought the first movie to life and held rights to the franchise from that day fourth. But so much of the depth and wonder we fondly remember from the original trilogy came from the minds and talents of others. I'm beginning to think that Lucas didn't even understand some of the key ideas behind those original films. (For example, reducing the spiritual philosophies of the force as presented in Empire and Jedi to some bullshit about midichlorians and blood samples.)
ReplyDelete@gtfomylawndouche the empire wants an oppressive rulership against the galaxy with marshal law. the rebels just want a free, independent galaxy.
ReplyDeleteWhat I kinda hate is how the rebels are portrayed as good even though the empire wants a united galaxy with peace and order.
ReplyDeleteWhat I kinda hate is how the rebels are betrayed as good even though the empire wants a united galaxy with peace and order.
ReplyDelete@ 1:50 that made him the angry video game nerd
ReplyDeleteThat poster is rare, reason being that not only are the lightsaber colors of vader and luke switched, it also at the bottom said revenge of the jedi, changed later to return of the jedi, but the poster itself was recalled, makeing it a collectors item.
ReplyDeleteChewie is hardley cowardly.......
ReplyDeleteDamn did ruberman202 write a novel
ReplyDelete@TheDARKYOSHI64 369 lol (dislike this comment)
ReplyDelete@computerexpert3 George Lucas can be thanked for creating the original concept and the initial spark to the whole franchise, but there were a lot more people putting their creativity into the original movies. While George Lucas wrote and directed the first movie, a lot of things went wrong and he didn't get everything he wanted, but it still turned out to be a great movie. After that he became a producer and the other two original movies were written and directed by others.
