Duke Nukem Mobile CELL PHONE review

I decided to test out Duke Nukem Mobile after playing the first three Duke Nukem games.
Video Rating: 4 / 5

This short video explores ways to determine if your cell phone has been compromised to act as a bug. While it's obviously unlikely that this would happen to most people, it was recently revealed that the FBI has used this technique, and just as illicit wiretaps are possible, illicit cell phone bugging could also occur. This video is based on Lauren Weinstein's December 2006 blog entry: "How To Tell If Your Cell Phone Is Bugged" located at: lauren.vortex.com Be seeing you!

  6. @IntelgratedShiznit Yeah, the controls are terrible but the gameplay is awesome, but i agree it's better on a computer... my point was just that this 2d game was just really terrible and on iPod it cost 5x less for a complete 3d game. :)

  23. Does the constant buzz happen when it's in the vicinity of switched on computer ? Or can it happen anywhere ? My phone sometimes gets the continual buzz when it's near to my pc, but not any other time.

  24. Very usefull information. The only thing I think you might have overlooked, is the display. I like mine always on, bright, and that creates heat, and drains the battery.

  25. I purposefully have phone sex, knowing the government is listening. I look forward to meeting them. I will make a national case out of it if they come to my door.

  26. This has been happening to me lately. I have been experiencing noise, echoing and clicking sounds while in private conversations. I know it is being tapped. So I provoke them by talking about how much I hate the government, etc. I want to see what their reactions are. These people are truly disgusting. The question is, what can be done? Is there software to prevent tapping?

  28. @VortexTech that guy is right thats why the government made us all get boxes to watch tv...thier now spying on us. our cumputers have a hidden mic in them as well.

  31. I have a little white circle with another little red circle in the white one. It keeps coming up each time I'm doing anything on my phone. Also, my phone is acting like a programmed computer, it navigates through different action in a really unusual computerised way.

  32. @Koppurointi when I worked 4 att, it would only have the echo sound when a supervisor was monitoring the call. so I take it the same way-when I hear the echo, I take it that I'm being monitored. fyi

  36. My phone was warmer than usual and my battery was dieing more quickly than usual. That might me the government was tapping in my phone.

If that's the case then there ears must really hurt, they heard random stuff, and how to kill zombies.

  37. @alltvisanimated That "eye" is usually just an infrared detector. Essentially it just senses heat.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @VortexTech As technology evolves forward, the differences between the devices we all use such as phones, computers, cameras and cable/satellite TELEVISION will become more intergrated and the difference between them less distinct. Also take into consideration the "EYE" on your TV that senses the signal for your remote control. How do you know what it is really peeping at.

  39. @HvensFury Any YouTube video poster can choose to moderate comments if they wish. I choose to do so, to try keep off spam (which would otherwise fill the comments area) and in general to keep things more or less G-rated here. Others can do as they prefer.

  40. @alltvisanimated I wouldn't worry too much about televisions spying on you -- except for cable/satellite boxes and DVRs, which certainly can/do send info about your viewing habits back to the company. But conventional TVs and such don't have hidden microphones and cameras. Now, whether or not your computer's mic and/or camera get turned on when you don't expect it is another issue entirely.

  41. I SEE THEY ARE NOW DEEMING WHAT COMMENTS THEY WILL AND WONT ALLOW! That's ok... Freedom is in our heritage...Communism will never survive!

    ReplyDelete
  42. @SovereignBeing That's why there was a push to get the new tv technology out. The screen can be viewed both ways. keep it draped or in a closed cabinet. I don't have tv and keep my pc closed when it's not in use. I also put tape over the 'eye' on the pc.

  45. This is nothing, your television, computer and telephone are all surveilance devices and you are being watched in your home and personal life. Without your informed consent your Fouth Ammendment Right to Privacy has been taken away. The Patriot Act grants the Corporations/Government the authority to enter your home at any time without telling you. Secretly without your informed consent surveilance technology has been intergrated into the electronic devices you purchase and use everyday.

  46. @Kakorone I always knew.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @SerionMedia I hear you. But it's your privacy that's being invaded. Some people have a lot of time on their hands. And not all phone tap/hacks are government related. Voyeurs can be your neighbors or someone that you know.
